Description

A very pretty, picture postcard pub exterior (and currently threatened pub sign) covered in colourful hanging baskets during the summer.  Great beer garden gemtly sloping into the river opposite Stourbridge Common.  Olde world feel inside with with low ceilings, nooks and crannies and a large fire place.  (STOP PRESS: Greene King are apparently rolling out their family friendly pub concept, Flame Grill, for the Greene Dragon - see here

What CAMRA say about this pub http://pubs.cambridge-camra.org.uk/

One of the oldest pubs in Cambridge. The interior has been opened up into a single bar but still retains the timber frames of the walls. A large central brick chimney breast divides the bar into distinct areas. The beer garden is by the river on the opposite side of the road. Food served between midday and 9.30pm. The third regular beer is a house beer and the guests include non Greene King beers. Charity Quiz night on Tuesdays.
