Large music focused pub with really friendly staff and locals on busy Newmarket Road. Cosy feel with wooden floorboards, wood burner, high ceilings and traditioanl bar. Reasonably priced, good portions of tasty homemade food (burgers recommended).

What our readers say
What CAMRA say about this pub http://pubs.cambridge-camra.org.uk/
Attractive 1930s pub with a half-brick, half-timbered exterior. The main bar has a stage in an alcove area and live music happens two to five times a week. The bar also has a real fire, bare board floors, high ceilings and a traditional bar counter and bar back. The light and airy dining room also has a real fire. Food is served 12 - 3 (not Monday) and 5 - 9 during the week and all day weekends. Gluten-free meals are a speciality and the stone-baked pizzas and West African goat curry have strong followings, as does the Steak Deal on Monday evening.
